He is one of the most successful captains in Indian Cricket history . His flamboyant looks, white helmet and ability to manage team made him a hero of Indian cricket for over a decade. However, in early start of the 21st Century, Azharuddin was found guilty in match fixing scandal and was awarded a lifetime ban. Even though the ban was lifted 12 years later but the damage was done.
He was not only a good player but also a great entertainer. His dance moves and hairstyles were quite appreciated. Being part of the world cup winning squad, everything was going right for him until he was found guilty of spot fixing in IPL and subsequently BCCI banned him.
Another classy example of a person destroying his career. Even though he was not one of the greats all rounders, Ajay has helped India win matches several time. Having a good and sustaining career, all was good for this dynamic cricketer until he was found guilty of assisting bookies with information and banned for 5 years.
The medium pace bowler stirred quite a few controversy both on and off the field. His career was short but effective However soon after his retirement he tried to implicate other cricketers including the legendary Kapil Dev but this controversy backfired and he was found guilty and handed a five year ban by BCCI.
